Jocurile cu cele mai multe nominalizări la „The Game Awards în 2023” sunt aventura horror „Alan Wake II” de la Remedy Entertainment și jocul de rol fantasy „Baldur's Gate 3” de la Larian Studios, ambele având șanse la opt premii.
Jocul de acțiune cu supereroi „Marvel’s Spider-Man 2” se distinge în șapte categorii, în timp ce jocurile „Hi-Fi Rush”, „Super Mario Bros. Wonder” și „The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom” se vor lupta pentru cinci statuete fiecare. „Alan Wake II”, „Baldur’s Gate 3”, „Marvel’s Spider-Man 2”, „Super Mario Bros.
